HR Consultants: What do we actually do?
At Synergy, we get asked this question all the time. As a team of consultants, our job is to provide strategic HR support to our clients. At the same time, this does not exclude us from providing transactional support as well. As outsource professionals, think of us as the jack of all trades for HR support. We are responsible for understanding the most up-to-date best practices and providing support to our clients as needed. Our goal is to partner with the decision-makers in an organization and coach them to be impactful leaders that have a successful workplace culture for their employees.
Although no job is too large or small for us, some of our consultants’ top duties are:
Providing high-end strategic support for leaders
Providing insight into best practices for workplace policies and procedures
Provide insight into best practices for current Labour Standards
Provide recruitment and onboarding support
Provide support with terminations and exit interviews
Act as a culture engineer to help you build the culture you want in your workplace
Consult on workforce concerns and provide an outside set of eyes
Protect you and your organization from possible legal action by ensuring best practices with Labour Standards are followed
